The event was organized by the South Asia Women’s Watch, National Alliance of Women in India, Mahila Dakshata Samithi, Women In Development. The Panelists were Dr. Sepali Kottegoda (Sri Lanka),  Nurgul Djanaeva (Kyrgyzstan), Dr. Neelavalli (India), Dr.  Jean Shinoda Bolen (USA)  and Jane Prichard (The Pacific). Dr. Rudman Rama was the moderator for this event.
