Dear Sisters,
The AP-NGO Forum on Beijing+15 is just 2 months away. Women in the region are well underway with preparations—developing national reports, preparing workshops for the forum, looking for funding, etc. But we’re not all work and no play. Preparations are also underway for an International Bazaar during the days of the Forum.

Dear Friends,
In regard to the B+15 process may I inform you that Saathi in coordination with other key women's organizations and activists would like to bring out a NGO Nepal report on B + 15 in time to be able to share it regionally at the AP NGO Forum in October and later at the CSW Session. The document will also be used at the national level to push for the implementation of committments. The report will be finalised after a two days national conference scheduled to be held in September second week in Kathmandu. The conference is expected to be attended by around 100 key gender activists and women's organisations from all over the country. The report will identify key accomplishments that have been made since Beijing + 10 Review process in 2004, and key areas where critical gaps remain that specially governments must commit to in regard to each of the twelve critical areas of concern. The report is being prepared based on the following format. -
- *Prevalence of the Problem *
- *Key Gains*
- *Key Gov/NGO Initiatives *
- *Gaps*
- *Emerging Issues *
- *Key Recommendations*
We would be happy to link this initiative to other B+15 efforts that are being planned in the region. Please conctact saathi[AT]gmail[DOT]com or bandanarana[AT]gmail[DOT]com for furhter information about the program
